Where to Mine Pyrite Ore

Where to Mine Pyrite Ore

Pyrite Ore is a new resource that has been added in the Cataclysm expansion to the mining profession. In order to mine Pyrite Deposits players will be required to be at the new mining skill cap of 525 and be an Illustrious Miner. The deposit itself are only minable at skill level 525 so do not bother going to any of the zones below to mine Pyrite without the skill level.

Pyrite is the new Titanium for this expansion and will be used in all of the high end crafts for blacksmithing and engineering. It will also play a significant role in the prospecting aspect of jewelcrafting. The value of Pyrite at launch will be astronomically high at first but will balance out over time to probably somewhere around 50 gold per bar.

Players wishing to acquire Pyrite will have to look to the higher level zones where EleMentium ore is present which are Deepholm, Uldum, and Twilight Highlands.

Twilight Highlands will be the best zone to get Pyrite in because it is the highest level zone but players will want to be level 84-85 while attempting it. There won't be a level requireMent to enter Twilight Highlands as it does not require a quest to get there.

The same may be true for Uldum, as it is part of the existing world and may not require a quest to enter but it is still level 83-84. Uldum will be the second best zone to get Pyrite from.

The last option is to go to Deepholm but it requires level 82 and a quest to enter from the callboard. No one is sure what the density of Pyrite will be in this lower zone but there is so much Elementium here that there is bound to be quite a bit.

Twilight Eclipse (Single-Disc Edition)

Twilight Eclipse (Single-Disc Edition) Twilight Eclipse (Single-Disc Edition) Prior to going to the theatre, I sat down to watch the first two installments of the Twilight saga; as a habit, I try to re-watch movies whenever a sequel comes out, just to get an idea of how the series progressed and developed. And in all honesty, both contributed to my overall impression and appreciation of Eclipse. Twilight is a movie I've never really had an opinion on one way or another; it wasn't the greatest movie I've ever seen, but it wasn't a complete train-wreck. Looking back at it now, I have to say that it is very painful to watch. I, personally, found this first installment to be very mediocre and primitive. Everything in it--the corny music, the blue filters, the choppiness, the transition, the plot selection--felt like a crappy teen flick. But the weakest point of this movie was the lead acting, so weak in fact, that it made the story more dif...
