Twilight - The Movie   The movie Twilight is based on the New York Times Best Seller written by Stephenie Meyer. Her book sold over 17 million copies. The romance novel involving the torrid love affair between Bella (a mortal) and Edward (a vampire) is considered one of the best books of the decade. It will be interesting to see how this story translates to screen. With award winning director Catherine Hardwick calling the shots behind the camera and a cult following with over 300 fan sites, the movie Twilight has the potential to be an absolute blockbuster. Many people are extremely excited to see this literary masterpiece make the transfer to the big screen, but a large portion of people are not excited by this prospect. Some argue that the movie version will not do the book justice and that it could potentially shed an unjust negative light on the treasured series.
